Job Decriptions:

Assisting at the Awards Ceremonies:

• Organizing Participants
• Stage set-up
• Stage break down

Athlete Spotting for the Announcers:

• Manning positions from 100 yards to ¼ mile ahead of the announcers informing them which athletes are approaching
• Filling the Announcers Queue of things to announce

Media Updates:

• Running/Updating/Manning position boards updating the media of situations on the course
• Manning a radio room collecting course information
• Directing the Media to appropriate places to get course information

Running Errands for the PR/Announcers Crew

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Be on time to your volunteer shifts.
• Bring Sunscreen, hats, and layer your clothing. It will be cold when we start, and be HOT when we finish.
• Wear your WF t-shirt during your volunteer shirt. You will be dealing with media professionals and will be representing the event. Please dress appropriately.
