Friday:

• Gates open 9:00 am.
• Greet Volunteers and direct to appropriate checkpoints.
• Cal Poly Volunteers and Guests must have valid Cal Poly idea to enter.
• Guests must arrive with at least one volunteer.
• Help give guests and volunteers beach city wristbands.
• Help give volunteers t-shirts.
• Assist with car checking procedures.
• Confiscate all hard alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, and glassware (call Volunteer Management and Park Rangers if necessary).
• Help distribute parking passes: Aid Stations, Beach City, or Overflow at committee leader's discretion.
• Record driver's wristband number, club, and license plate number on parking pass.
• Gate closes at 9:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday (Depending on Shifts):

• 6:00 am: Assist Park Rangers with traffic at the front gate.
• Direct cars, bikers, and runners.
• Bike traffic will be going through front gate. Make sure designated lanes remain clear. Racers have the right of way.
• Be flexible and prepared to help in other areas when needed.
• Assist with Beach City clean up and Check out (Sunday).

Weekend Reminders:

• All volunteers must work a minimum of 12 hours during the weekend.
• Do not drink alcoholic beverages during your shift.
• Beach City is closed 8 am-2pm on Saturday.
• Beach City is closed 8am-12pm on Sunday.
• Bring your Cal Poly I.D., sunscreen, snacks, water, camping gear, and clothes.
